The BC Siberian Husky Club has the distinction of being one of the oldest breed clubs in BC. With it’s origins going back to the early 1970’s, the club was formed by a group of enthusiasts to promote education about the breed and the versatility of activities in which the breed excelled.
Early members worked together with a great spirit of enthusiasm and support to create the foundations of the club as it stands to this day.
As the members’ individual pursuits expanded, the club grew and supported specialty shows, breed boosters held in conjunction with all breed shows, obedience, sledding and carting, and in more recent years agility and therapy work. And of course as always – the very important and time consuming task of breed rescue.
