ORIGIN
Huskies are originally descended from a species of wolf (called the Taymyr wolf) native to northern Asia and Russia . They were first bred by a people called the Chukchi , who used the dogs both as working sled dogs and as pets .
The term agouti husky refers to a husky with a wild-type coloring also called a wolf sable. This gives the dog the characteristic “ dark” color that is difficult to see. They may have some white markings. However, most of the body is very dark.
Agouti huskies are some of the friendliest dogs you will meet. You love people in general and are instantly receptive to strangers. They get along well with children and love to play. The breed is quite energetic and thrives when given a task.
