The Husky originated in Siberia, it was the Chukchi Indians who created this breed in order to have dogs that could pull their sleds in winter, hunt and entertain their children. They claimed that the husky was born from the love of a wolf and the moon. This wolf was in love with the moon and one night, it joined him. From their love was born the Siberian Husky which keeps the appearance of the wolf but which wears the crescent moon tail and which has stars in its eyes. This is why on full moon evenings, Huskies and wolves howl to call her to come down again.
